Transformer manufacturers analyse the safety requirements of substations

I: Buildings

(1) The structure of the substation house shall meet the requirements of fire prevention and seismic resistance, and the substation equipment shall be set up in sub-compartments. Doors open outwards and are fireproof, and the doors of the intermediate passages are free.

(2) The walls, floors, wire channels, doors and windows of the substation shall not have holes to prevent the invasion of small animals. The ventilation area of transformer room and capacitor room should be equipped with a rain cover in addition to meeting the ventilation requirements.

(3) The substation shall not be close to combustible, explosive, corrosive substances or gases, conductive dust.

(4) The house of the distribution station should not leak. Be sure to seal the cable entrances with flame-retardant materials.

II: Substation equipment.

(1) When a transformer is installed indoors, the centre of the transformer shall be located in the best position for air convection paths. The side of the transformer on which the oil position, thermometers, and gas transmission must be constantly observed faces outward, and the transformer and rails should be close to the floor.

(2) The disconnecting switch must be fitted with a reliable switch even if it is mounted on a wall or metal frame. When closed, the distance between the static contacts must not be less than 160 mm. when the switch is required to extend the shaft, a bearing seat must be fitted at one end of the shaft. The operating mechanism requires a corresponding interlocking mechanism. Be sure to ground the metal parts.

(3) When the load switch separates the gate, in order that the fn-10 edge is not lower than 182mm from the static contact, the arc tube is complete, and the action of the quick cut-off device is trustworthy.
